The Top Ten Social Networks for Web Site Promotion
As everyone knows, it is very important to stay active with social media and it is a good way to gain traffic and links to your website. I get lots of emails and IMs from people who ask which sites I like to use. There are a TON of different sites out there - some are niche specific and some covers lots of different topics.

Just what I have been wanting! Something to take the guess work out of social bookmarking. There are so many out there I was getting confused on which ones I should be working on.

Well, I can't see how google will punish social bookmarking sites - I think they'll probably have their favourites and weed out the ones that are full of spammy sites etc. If they want to stay ahead of the game then what users think are good sites and good articles are massively valuable to the search engines.

I did a bunch of social bookmarking for one of my blogs recently and actually received a good amount of permanent one-way links.
I had someone else do the work for me though, it seems very tedious.
Anyone else do social bookmarking for links?
