Get Free Quotes for Your Next Project in this Online B2B Marketplace
If you are looking for business services or have a service that you would like to promote, take the time to explore VendorSeek. As the name implies, VendorSeek is a B2B marketplace that connects business owners with pre-qualified vendors. You can request a free quote from one of the more than 150 different business based categories that they serve.
Many businesses use or have used sites such as Craigslist when searching for business services. Others take the time to search through pages of search results and read many different websites in the hopes of finding the right vendor to fill their business needs. However, this may not be the most efficient way to find the best vendor.
With Craigslist, your business is bombarded with tons of emails from people the world over who claim to be an expert and that you can rely on them to serve your needs. However, there is a lot to wade through and many people have been burned in some way by business partners found on Craigslist.
While searching through the search results of the search engines can be an effective way to find business partners, it can also be vert time consuming. It takes time to sort through the results, read through the different websites, and then narrow down your selection. You then have to contact each company, explain what services you need and then get a quote in a timely manner.
VendorSeek was created over 5 years ago to eliminate these problems. After answering basic questions about your business needs, VendorSeek will seek out a select group of vendors and allow them to bid on your project. In a short period of time you will have up to 5 competing bids from pre-qualified vendors who are paying just to see your project details. This ensures that the people who bid on your project are very interested in working for you and meeting your expectations. Don't just take my word for it, see what their satisfied customers have to say.
VendorSeek also allows businesses a way to promote their services by allowing them to become a vendor and purchase business leads that match the services that they provide. VendorSeek promotes the fact that 15-50% of these leads turn into business for vendors which is much higher than what you will see from Craigslist or an organic search engine listing.
Check out VendorSeek today and see what services this dating service for businesses can do for your business.

I've come across quite a few of these services recently. I doubt that the conversion is quite that high. It most likely won't be for offline businesses.

Looks like a good alternative to Craigslist...as popular as it has become it has its downsides like you stated, everyone being an expert, and lower conversions.

Looks interesting. $99.00 a year plus $15.00 per lead. I bookmarked it to try it out and see if any of the leads will convert, it's worth a try. I will report back here any results I get.

During our relationship with vendorseek we returned 12 leads because the prospects:
- Weren't interested in web design.
- Didn't have the funds to pay for the project (even though we set requirements with vendorseek ahead of time to ONLY give us leads in our price range)
- Customers were unqualified and only "TESTING" vendorseek.
- Customers with incorrect contact information (when we told vendorseek the email address was incorrect they said that it was only one digit off only to find later that the email address was completely false.
On December 20th 1 lead out of the 12 that we returned was "approved" by vendorseek. They told us that we would be credited.
It is January 5th and we STILL have not received our credit.
It's quite frustrating to deal with this company. Mark Bergstrom and the employees as a whole are difficult. You ask for a returned phone call and it never comes. You email him (or the employees) and they respond with vague answers. It's incredibly difficult to get issues resolved once they have your money.
Our experience with them has been extremely frustrating and we're STILL trying to get our money back from them. I don't recommend using them unless you want to pay for a significant amount of junk leads. It's just awful.
