TheTrump Books Do Battle
It seems like Donald Trump is a busy man these days with two new books fresh on the shelves of bookstores, Think Big and Kick Ass in Business and Life and Wealth Building 101. Both are great books; I have read both but favor Wealth Building 101.
What is most interesting though, is the rankings of these books on Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com. I just got done reading a post by Josef Katz of Trump University, Think Big and Kick Ass, by Josef Katz at the Marketing Maestro blog. Josef points out the different marketing strategies of the two books and shows the power of the Internet since Wealth Building 101 is being pushed mainly on the web whereas the 'other book' is being promoted all over the place. Right now, the new Trump book that is experiencing better sales is Wealth Building 101.
If you order the Wealth Building 101 book, you get $300 worth of extras with your proof of purchase from Amazon or BN.com. If you order the 'other book', you don't get any extra incentives. So while the other book is being promoted across all mediums and Trump is on prominent TV shows promoting this book, the one that stands tall at this point is the one that has been marketed less, but with a much stronger incentive to purchase.
So listen up online marketers, there is a big lesson to be learned about promoting books or any other product online. Make sure to give extra value to your customers and you might be surprised how well received your offering will be, without spending tons of marketing dollars that you probably don't have in the first place.

Why only online marketeers, your advise holds good for all marketeers. Extra value for money propositions will always win over those that do not offer them.
